  ❖ Developed and refined research tools, such as interview and observation schedules, conducted frequent site visits, and was responsible for managing a comprehensive data spreadsheet as a team member working on the largest UK randomized controlled trial realist evaluation of focused deterrence programmes funded by the Youth Endowment Fund (YEF). ❖ Gained expertise in analysing and discussing sensitive research data within a multidisciplinary team. ❖ Conducted 38 face to face interviews (initial, follow-up, and exit interviews) with programme participants, young people involved in violence in the community, as well as 25 online interviews with key stakeholders, including delivery team members, analysts, community members, police officers, sergeants, head managers, Violence Reduction Unit members, Community Oversight Groups, probation officers, youth justice workers, and deterrence officers. ❖ Established strong professional relationships with three bespoke sites, including police departments across Greater Manchester Combined Authority, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Violence Reduction Partnership and Leicester Violence Reduction Unit, during recurring and frequent site visits as part of the data collection efforts for the formative aspect of the evaluation. ❖ Enhanced my writing and publications skills, contributing to reports to the funder (Youth Endowment Fund) for various project phases and co-authoring academic research papers.
