My name is Yadi, and I’m an educator from Ecuador with over seven years of teaching experience. I studied Environmental Engineering and hold a Master’s degree in English and Literature, focusing on education and Intercultural Communication. I also completed a Teacher Certification preparation course at Moreland, where I learned advanced teaching methods to create effective and enjoyable learning experiences. I moved to China to pursue my Master’s studies and improve my Chinese. Over the years, I’ve taught Spanish, English, and science (in English) to students of all ages and cultural backgrounds. I’ve also worked in translation and interpretation, connecting English, Chinese, and Spanish with cultural sensitivity to ensure clear and respectful communication. As a non-native English speaker, I understand the challenges of learning a new language. That’s why I’ve developed effective strategies to enhance vocabulary retention and proper language use, which I apply to help my students grow. I truly enjoy art, music, theater, painting, and cooking. I love bringing creativity not only into my teaching to keep students engaged and motivated but also into my professional projects to help them succeed.
