The Director of Logistics role is part of the Worldwide Outform Logistics Team and will be based in Shanghai, China. This challenging position requires outstanding flexibility and adaptability in liaising with a variety of internal & external customers in addition to the ability to provide strategic responses to external influences including China Customs and governmental statutory requirements (CIQ, CCC, CSTCG/MSDS/DG), China Golden Week / Chinese New Year / Etc Holiday work scheduling, OEM to OEM material transfer, Factory to Customer, Cusotmer to Factory (Via Handbook or General Trade) etc. These are just a few of the key attributes needed for success in this dynamic and changing environment. Responsibilities Summary: 1. Develop project plan / execution plan for all Outform project launches 2. Drive service providers for operational excellence around timely execution, critical metric management, status reporting, loss and damage, uplift performance etc 3. Understand impact of local regulatory change on import and export requirements and ensure all certifications, as required by local government, are in place to ensure freight moves smoothly at all times both inside and outside of China 4. Host weekly (or another suitable interval) meetings with the Outform Global Logistics Team Ensure compliance with the specific Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) and keeping it updated through coordination with your international Outform teammates 5.Host regular training sessions for Outform China logistics associates located across China

The successful candidate will be a self-starter, motivated with Logistics and supply chain skills/background. He/She must also be an excellent communicator in both English and Mandarin, be able to work on his/her own initiative, and ideally have experience working within a freight transportation environment. Minimum Requirements (Must-Have): 1. 5 years minimum experience in a Logistics Management Role 2. Demonstrated success in both import (into China) as well as export (from China) 3. Experience in international environments 4. Dangerous Goods Certification or ability to obtain Candidate Requirements (Need to Have): 1. Awareness of local regulatory requirement related to import and export 2. Excellent communication and with good interpersonal skills 3. Creative problem-solving and analytical skills plus a good networking within the freight industry. 4. Energetic, positive attitude, ability to manage change and able to work in a fast-paced environment 5. Capable of working individually or as part of a multifunctional team including peers and/or senior managers 6. Able to easily work across time zones and cultures 7. Good leadership versatility and a strong talent builder and great teammate The salary range is 25k-40k monthly based on the candidate background.
