SWUFE-UD Institute of Data Science at SWUFE now invites candidates for this position which is expected to be filled in September 2024: Professor/Associate/Assistant Professor/Lecturer in English Language. Job Requirement Applicants are invited from those with teaching interests in English, and will devote himself/herself to inspiring and motivating students as well as responding professionally and supportively to their written work and oral presentation by providing courses and guidance for undergraduate students regarding academic writing, professional writing, and/or English literature. In terms of English teaching, the post holder will be expected to make a significant teaching contribution.

Applicants must hold a Master’s degree and above in a related discipline, PhD holder is preferred, have demonstrable experience of high-quality teaching with the ability to carry out on-campus teaching, as well as English learning supervision, along with excellent oral and written communication skills. Native English speaker with a Master’s degree in English, Linguistics, TESOL / TEFL and other related area will be preferred. Application Information: Appointment to this position will initially be made on a fixed-term contract. Salaries will be commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience. Continuation of appointment beyond the initial term will be subject to mutual agreement.
