Job Description As a Part-Time UI Designer, you will play a key role in enhancing the user interface of the Commerize platform and app. You will work closely with the product manager and development team to improve usability, aesthetics, and functionality, ensuring that our design aligns with the expectations of English-speaking users in the U.S. and other Western markets. Responsibilities • Optimize and enhance the UI design for the Commerize platform and app. • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs based on user needs and business goals. • Work closely with the product manager and developers to ensure smooth implementation of UI improvements. • Maintain design consistency and usability across different touchpoints. • Conduct user research and testing to refine the interface and improve overall user experience.

Qualifications • Experience: 3+ years in UI/UX design, preferably in e-commerce or SaaS platforms. • Language: Native English speaker preferred or highly fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills. • Tools: Proficiency in Figma and other industry-standard design tools. • Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of U.S. e-commerce trends and consumer behavior. • Collaboration Skills: Ability to translate business requirements into user-friendly, intuitive designs while working effectively with product managers and developers. • Attention to Detail: Strong design aesthetics, usability principles, and an eye for creating intuitive, engaging user experiences. Work Arrangement • Location: Shanghai-based (part-time, hybrid). • Hours: Approx. 8-10 hours per week on-site, with additional remote flexibility. • Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
