- Lead the department to design and execute translational and biomarker studies and collaborate closely with the VP, Head of Clinical Biomarker and CDx development to support the development and clinical trials. - Develop and implement preclinical translational strategy for our oncology, immuno-therapy and inflammation discovery programs. - Collaborate with discovery scientists to assess, prioritize, and advance new drug candidates into clinical development. - Work closely with clinical biomarker and clinical development teams to ensure translational science strategy is aligned with clinical development strategy and clinical trial design. - Establish and oversee quality control procedures related to translational science and biomarker analysis. - Analyze translational and biomarker data and generate reports to support drug development and clinical decision-making. - Communicate translational and biomarker data to internal stakeholders, external partners, and regulatory authorities.  

- Ph.D. in a relevant scientific discipline. - At least 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry, with a focus on Translational Science for Oncology and Immuno-therapy. - Strong knowledge of Oncology and Immuno-therapy drug discovery and development, including biology research and translational research. - Demonstrated scientific and logical thinking with a track record of high-profile scientific publications - Demonstrated experience in leading scientific teams in the development and execution of translational science strategies for preclinical drug development. - Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to generate presentations. - Experience in developing and managing external research collaborations and partnerships. - Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
