Kindergarten Teacher Jobs in China

The following are the prerequisites for teaching kindergarten in China:

Bachelor's degree is the highest level of education (any Subject)

Ages range from 22 to 60 years old.

TEFL Certification with a clean criminal background check (Must be 120 hours although you will be excused with an educational or early years degree.)

It is preferable if you have previous experience in a kindergarten.

While prior kindergarten teaching experience is appreciated, it is not a must for this position. Kindergartens often seek for instructors who are enthusiastic about children and who put their students' needs above anything else. This is especially true in the more traditional types of kindergartens.

Characteristics of a Kindergarten Teacher

The characteristics required to be a successful Kindergarten teacher in China are no different from those required everywhere else in the globe. Some of the most attractive tratis are as follows:

Passion: Without a doubt, the most vital attribute is that of dedication. When things aren't going well in the classroom or at school, this characteristic helps to keep you inspired. This desire will be fueled by the feeling of success that young learners will experience as they go through their education.

Patience is required since children are easily sidetracked and have the potential to get themselves into all kinds of trouble. A kindergarten teacher should take the time to explain why a pupil should not be allowed to play with paint on the floor rather than become irritated by the behavior.

Having empathy for children and the capacity to form connections with them are two essential characteristics.......................................................... You must be able to see that a child's terrible behavior may serve as a kind of communication at times. The reason for this isn't because they're being wicked.

In your role as a teacher, you are one of the most important individuals in your students' life, and you are supposed to set an example through your actions.

Make an effort to do more than just interact with the youngsters and sing to them. When children are in your care, they are still expected to learn a great deal, and this will be your major role. Kindergarten instructors are very highly compensated as a result of their efforts.

I may earn between 20,000 and 26,000 RMB per month as a kindergarten teacher in China's Tier 1 cities if I work as a kindergarten teacher (After Tax).

Cities in Tier 2 earn between 18,000 and 22,000 RMB per month (After Tax).

14,000 – 20,000 RMB per month in Tier 3 cities (After Tax).

Kindergarten wages, even those at international schools (have a look at international school pay), are not that different from those at other types of schools. Kindergartens in Beijing may cost anything from 20,000 to 27,000 RMB after taxes, depending on the location. The advantages of attending an International kindergarten as opposed to a traditional kindergarten are the main distinction. These may result in significant disparities in earnings.

The incomes in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities are lower, but the cost of living is lower as well, making it a more attractive option. No matter what you do, you will be on the right side of the ledger every month when you open your bank account statement.

Regardless of the monetary compensation, the experience of working in a kindergarten in China was one of the most rewarding things I've ever done. While going through the most trying times, when meetings were dragging on, when you were kept in the dark, when things were changed at the last minute, or when a parent complained because you didn't ask their precious child a question in class, it was the smiles and laughter with the cutest children in the world that made it all worthwhile.
