Hello! My name is Ame. I am a licensed professional teacher with a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English and I hold a TEFL certificate. I have nearly 10 years of experience as an ESL teacher, working with students from China, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, and Turkey. Throughout my career, I have focused on helping learners use English in a natural, comfortable, and confident way. To achieve this, I incorporate interactive activities and make use of technology to keep lessons engaging and effective. In addition, I have a strong interest in exploring different cultures, as it helps me better understand diversity and inclusivity—values I consistently reflect in my teaching approach. In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching documentaries, cooking for my family, and listening to music.
