  Producing news, op-ed, analysis, and startup profile articles for the popular Asia-focused technology industry site TechinAsia, with an emphasis on providing insights to experts such as CEOs, analysts, and venture capitalists. With around 2 million monthly active users, the majority of readers are spread across Southeast Asia and North America. I worked remotely for the Singapore-based firm with discipline, maintaining strict working hours and communicating effectively with teammates around the globe via a workplace messaging app while using other modern newsroom tools such as Google Docs. The role greatly enhanced my ideation, interviewing, transcribing, editing, and writing skills. It also involved frequent trips to Asia’s tech hubs for conferences, such as to Singapore, Shanghai, Beijing, Jakarta, Bangalore, and Tokyo.
