1. Design, implement, and tailor AML/CFT programmes to meet the specific regulatory requirements and operational contexts of each jurisdiction in which the company operates; 2. Review, update, and enhance AML and fraud-related policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with evolving regulatory expectations and international best practices; 3. Conduct research and analysis on payment licensing requirements in Europe, North America, and other key regions (knowledge of the LATAM region is a strong advantage); 4. Prepare and submit license applications to relevant regulatory authorities, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with local standards; 5. Liaise and maintain effective relationships with regulators and external advisors to facilitate smooth licensing and supervisory processes; 6. Provide regulatory and documentation support for licensing and compliance matters worldwide; 7. Advise management on compliance risks, internal controls, and remediation strategies to strengthen governance and regulatory readiness; 8. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all compliance and licensing initiatives align with overall business objectives and expansion strategies; and 9. Monitor and interpret regulatory developments across jurisdictions, ensuring timely updates to the company’s compliance frameworks and guidance to relevant teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred. • At least 5 years of experience in financial regulation, compliance, or a related field. • Proven track record of successfully acquiring payment licenses in Europe and/or North America. • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations in target regions, such as CFPB, FTC, FinCEN, FINTRAC, PSD2, PI, AISP, PISP, etc. • Experience in the banking system or Fintech industry is highly desirable. • Strong networking skills with regulatory bodies and industry associations. • Languages: Proficiency in English and Spanish are most desirable, together with Chinese, Portuguese and finally, other European languages is a plus. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, international environment.
