1, Prepare lecture material for students as per the approved syllabus. 2, Teach students through a systematic programme of lectures, discussions, audio-visual presentations, laboratories, workshops and field studies (where applicable). 3, Assigns and corrects assignments. 4, Prepare, administer and correct tests. 5, Evaluates learning progress, determines individual student needs, and discusses results with parents and school officials. 6, Prepare and implement a tutoring programme for students who need extra help. 7, Attends staff meetings, educational conferences and teacher training workshops. 8, May teach and assess students through distance or online courses.

1, Bachelor's degree or higher. 2, 5 years of experience teaching English/Maths in grades 9-12 in the Ontario Curriculum. 3, Familiarity with face-to-face and online teaching settings. 4, Excellent communication skills and ability to relate to international students. 5, Extensive knowledge of the current Ontario Curriculum for Grades 9-12 English/Maths. 6, Must be committed to completing a full year of teaching (teaching consecutive semesters). 7, Experience in inspection and supervision as required by the Ministry of Education. 8, Ability to prepare course flipcharts including course outlines, unit plans, lesson plans, lesson tracking, student attendance, and various forms of assessment. Applicants are required to have their own course binders. 9, Prepare up-to-date flipcharts for teaching. Schedule: Monday to Friday, except Chinese statutory holidays, weekend availability (1.5 times salary), daily schedule to be determined pending further discussion. Salary: ranging from C$60,000 - C$85,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience); Accommodation is not included but can be arranged upon request (approx. C$1200-1800 per month); Travelling airfares provided.
