High School ESL/English Literature Teacher<br/>📍 Location: Shanghai/ Hangzhou<br/>🗓 Start Date: August 15, 2025<br/><br/>We are seeking an experienced and passionate High School ESL/English Literature Teacher to join a dynamic, student-centered school in Shanghai’s Qingpu District. The ideal candidate is committed to inquiry-based learning, long-term student development, and active engagement in school life.<br/>

🔍 Qualities, Qualifications and Requirements:<br/>- At least two years’ teaching experience, ideally in discussion-, inquiry-, and project-based classrooms. Background in ESL and Language Arts preferred.<br/>Strong commitment to academic growth and skills development for high school learners.<br/>- Ability to thrive in a cross-cultural environment; flexibility, patience, and a collaborative mindset are essential.<br/>- A Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field is required. A Master’s or higher degree is preferred.<br/>- Must hold notarized, apostilled, and consulate-certified original academic credentials.<br/>- Native/fluent English speaker from the US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, or South Africa (in accordance with Chinese work visa regulations).<br/>- Clean criminal background check and professional references, including contact info for current and most recent supervisors.<br/>- Teaching load: Approx. 20 classroom hours/week (4 periods/day), from 8am to 4pm, plus lesson planning, grading, and student support.<br/>- Active participation in school life, including advising or leading an extracurricular club or activity.<br/>- Occasional support (max. 3 times/term) for weekend recruitment or admissions events.<br/>- Must be available for faculty orientation and planning by August 15, 2025.
