Lead Architect – The SPACE Group Job Description The SPACE Group, an integrated real estate development and hospitality management firm located in Shanghai, China, is looking to hire an in-house architect who will be responsible for leading the design of our commercial, residential, and hospitality projects in China and Sri Lanka. The lead architect will manage all works related to the project design including operations, construction, technical detailing and other documentation. He/She will work directly with the managing directors on setting the design direction of the company’s development projects which include sustainable luxury downtown hotels and beach resorts, residential communities, and creative commercial spaces. Job Requirements •Professional degree in architecture •Previous experience in hospitality or residential projects •Previous project experience in China and/or Sri Lanka is desired •Excellent design and technical skills •Good IT skills in a range of software with technical abilities in CAD and 3D modeling •Fluency in written and spoken English is strongly required
