An established IB school in Xi’an is looking to hire a MYP Design Teacher for August 2024. Design classes to their students. Whilst they would prefer someone with previous IB teaching experience, they will consider strong design teachers from any teaching background. They are hiring for someone to start as soon as possible with the understanding that the visa processing will take several months if the successful candidate is based outside China.

1. Current teaching qualification (PGCE, Teaching License, SACE etc.) 2. BA degree 3. Previous teaching experience, and strong knowledge in the area of teaching drama to young students. 4. Proven collaborator skilled at working well with others. 5. Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills 6. Expertise in building active, collaborative classroom programs which develop a sense of classroom community and trust. 7. Proven ability to differentiate instruction and integrate learning. Desirable: 1. IB Design teaching experience preferred. 2. Good understanding of the IB MYP Design curriculum.
