Project Instruction and Notice: 1. Please download Appen Task APP according to attached file. 2. Use your Email, Project Number and Invitation Code to log in. 3. Please put your phone in "Do Not Disturb" mode for the best performance. 4. Please hold phone with a relaxed arm. (10 to 15 cm away from your mouth). Please speak loudly, clearly and slowly. 5. Please leave 0.5-1 second of silence before and after recording for the best performance. Each sentence must be among 5 to 9 seconds long recording. 6. DO NOT stop for more than 1 second during recording. 7. DO NOT to make voice like ah, um, haha, or repetition words. 8. Sentences must be completed in meaning and voice. 9. Do not use any English words to make sentences, for example, GDP, Tik Tok, TV. Any non-target words are not acceptable. 10. Every sentence need to be different, similar sentences are not acceptable. 11. DO NOT click abandon button unless you want to give up this project. If you want to pause, you can close APP directly, your recordings will be continued when log in next time. 12. If your recording topic include location and name, please include specific name and location. eg. I will go to see my uncle today - incorrect I will go to see my uncle Tony today- correct If your recording topic include number and time, please include Arabic numerals. eg. I go to work at morning- incorrect I go to work at 9:00-correct 13. Please note we do not accept dialects and please use formal language for recording. *Please wait APP to upload your recording data once you complete it, keep WIFI on until you see the page "Successfully Upload"

Invalid rules: a. Non-target language. The whole audio is not target language, or there are more than 2 English words in the audio. b. Noise & non speech. The whole audio is full of noise or silence. c. Meaningless sentence. The whole audio is only fill modal words like ah, um, haha... Or the speaker realizes that he says it wrong and says the word again correctly. d. Illegal content. The audio involve pornography, violence, racial discrimination, anti-government etc. e. Non-native speaker/wrong accent. The audio is not recorded by Azerbaijani natives or does not meet the requirements of Azerbaijani standard accent. f. Read off a script. It is obvious from the tone that the speaker is reading according to the text. g. Interruption/Pause/Stutter/Overlap. The sentence is interrupted by sudden noise, or the speaker is not fluent. The pause here refers to an abnormal pause (Interruption/pause more than 1.5s). h. Incomplete sentence. An incomplete sentence is a cut sentence or if that sentence does not have enough meaning or information to determine the category. i. Low volume. The audio volume is adjusted to 50% and the speaker's voice is still too light and unclear. j. Repetition sentence. The content of the current sentence is the same as the content of the sentence you encountered before. k. Children’s sound. The voice of the recording person is obviously the voice of a child.
