工作职责
The core of a women's shoe business order-following staff member is to
sell goods, attract customers, follow up orders and maintain
relationships. It is divided into two categories: domestic
trade/wholesale and foreign trade. The core functions are highly overlapping, with only the channel and language requirements being different.
1. Core Functions (General)
1. Sales target achievement
• Execute the company's sales plan and complete monthly/quarterly/annual performance targets (sales volume, collections, number of new customers).
• Product introduction: Proficient in women's shoe materials, craftsmanship, sizes,
lasts, selling points, fashion trends, and professional matching advice for customers.
• Quotation and Negotiation: Create quotation sheets, negotiate prices, delivery dates, payment methods, and facilitate signing.
2 Customer development and maintenance
• Expansion: Develop dealers/wholesalers/brand customers through exhibitions, B2B platforms, wholesale markets, referrals from existing customers, and social media.
• Maintenance: Build customer profiles, make regular follow-ups, follow up on restocking, handle customer complaints, and increase repurchase rates.
• Customer relationship: Coordinate customer needs, provide feedback on product improvement suggestions, and establish long-term partnerships.
3 Follow up on the entire order process (core)
• Sample: Make a sample, confirm, send a sample, record feedback and adjust.
• Order placement: Contract/PI signing, receipt (deposit/balance), entry into the order system.
• Production: Connect with the factory/workshop, follow up on production scheduling, materials, sewing, molding, quality inspection, and resolve anomalies (delays,
quality issues).
• Shipment: Arrange inspection, logistics, customs clearance (for foreign trade) to ensure on-time and quantity delivery.
• After-sales: Handle quality complaints, returns and exchanges, additional codes, coordinate claims, and ensure satisfaction.
4. Market and Competitor analysis
• Gather market information: popular styles, price ranges, competitor dynamics, changes in customer demand.
• Analyze competitors: price, style, quality, delivery time, policy, and provide coping strategies.
• Feedback Trends: Provide design/R&D with new directions, material preferences, and color suggestions.
5. Data and reports
• Sales data: Count sales volume, sales revenue, collections, gross profit, customer performance.
• Order reports: Follow up on order progress, anomalies, and shipping records.
• Market reports: Regularly submit market analysis, competitor reports, and customer feedback.
6. Cross-departmental collaboration
• Connect design, development, purchasing, production, QC, warehouse, and finance to ensure smooth order flow.
• Coordinating resources: Addressing issues such as insufficient production capacity, material shortages, and substandard quality.
2. Foreign trade-specific functions
• Language: English/Spanish/Italian, etc. Proficient in mail, negotiation, document preparation.
• Platform operations: ** Alibaba International Station, exhibitions (Canton Fair, Jiada Exhibition), social media (Facebook/Instagram) ** Develop customers.
• Foreign trade documents: Prepare PI, contract, invoice, packing list, bill of lading, customs declaration documents, follow up on foreign exchange collection.
• International logistics: Contact freight forwarders, arrange sea/air freight, clear customs, track goods to port.

• Product expertise: Knowledge of women's shoe materials (genuine
leather/PU/mesh), processes (sewing/needlework/molding), lasts, sizing standards.
• Communication and negotiation: Skilled in customer communication, price negotiation, and dispute resolution.
• Stress resistance and execution: Be able to travel, visit the market, work overtime to follow up on orders, and have a strong sense of purpose.
• Market sensitivity: Capture fashion trends, bestseller potential, and competitor dynamics.
