(8 years 11 months) Since November 2016, I have served as Regional Finance Controller for Infinique HK Co Ltd (foreign HQ) and Infinique (SG) Pte Ltd, reporting directly to the CEO in Shenzhen and partnering with regional teams in Hong Kong. I oversee the full spectrum of finance, management reporting, HR, administration, tax, and audit functions for both Singapore and Hong Kong entities. My responsibilities include group consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, while ensuring compliance with all local statutory and tax regulations. I have consistently driven process improvements, strengthened internal controls, and implemented governance frameworks to support strategic growth. I established the complete finance function for the start-up, introducing accounting systems, SOPs, and internal control frameworks. This included selecting and implementing a new accounting system, managing system testing, data migration, and staff training. I also introduced SOPs covering the end-to-end operational-to-finance workflow, aligning processes between Singapore and China, and implemented segregation of duties that strengthened internal control and reduced audit costs. By improving the month-end close cycle to Day 5 and delivering management reports by Day 10, I accelerated decision-making for leadership.

From January to July 2016, I served as Finance Director for Trek 2000 International Ltd, an SGX-listed technology company. I led the group’s finance functions, overseeing financial planning, group consolidation, corporate reporting, and statutory compliance with IRAS, GST, EDB, and SGX requirements. I advised the CEO and board on strategic matters, managed corporate finance initiatives for working capital optimisation, R&D and intellectual property investments, and group restructuring, and ensured audit readiness for both internal and external stakeholders. During a period of corporate investigation, I provided financial governance and stability, working closely with EY, the CPIB, ACRA, and other external stakeholders on forensic reviews and audit processes. I strengthened internal control frameworks and compliance processes to reduce operational and reputational risks, maintained transparent financial reporting to regulators and investors, and ensured business continuity during leadership transition and crisis management.

From March to December 2015, I was Head of Finance and HR at Dachser Singapore Pte Ltd, where I led the Finance, Administration, and Human Resources functions. I oversaw full-spectrum finance operations, statutory compliance, and corporate governance while serving as the local signatory and Compliance Officer. My responsibilities included strengthening internal controls, managing credit risk, and directing HR operations such as payroll, recruitment, training, and office administration. I also acted as Team Lead for the SAP FICO implementation, ensuring processes were standardised and aligned with global headquarters. During my tenure, I implemented corporate compliance frameworks, enhanced governance controls, and delivered a successful SAP FICO rollout that improved operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.
