It is with great enthusiasm that I submit my resume in consideration for a position as a teacher for next academic year. My strengths as a teacher include my enthusiasm, my ability to connect with my students, and my understanding of their individual learning needs. Acting as a facilitator, I encourage student-centered learning, where they are empowered to share opinions, experiment, and steer a lesson in a new direction. I pride myself on creating a safe, respectful space for my students and maintaining positive, open communication with their guardians. I have earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and certifications in Elementary Education and TEFL for all English levels. As a passionate athlete, I have enjoyed putting my skills to use by leading intramural sports clubs, coaching primary and secondary cross-country teams, and organizing sports days for students’ families. It is my goal to combine my range of experience with my ability to be an engaging, compassionate teacher to make a positive contribution to your school.
