Provision of integrated and comprehensive business solutions into a diverse portfolio of clients. I combined a huge array of complex industrial and professional hardware and services from across all Panasonic companies from renewable energy through to audio visual and CCTV. Appointed as the first European Business Solutions Account Manager, I successfully delivered the first Panasonic cross division solution to Jaguar Land Rover. JLR now represent part of the Panasonic Business Solutions Major Accounts globally. Responsible for the project management and appointment of sub-contractors for high value solutions in line with customer business strategy for cost saving/energy efficiency/business expansion, whilst growing a 3-year pipeline in accordance with the shareholder’s expectations of a new business division. My role involved identifying and building industry changing solutions, which can be replicated across specified vertical markets. The understanding of customer’s challenges and purchasing process being critical to this. I was also responsible for developing a business plan and product sales strategy for each new financial year. I created a training platform and KPI structure for growing sales team for Panasonic business Solutions in preparation for becoming an independent company in 2016. During my first year in this role, I was awarded the Panasonic Eagle Award for sales achievement for the second time.

(3 years 4 months) Managing the UK distribution and channel partners for Hitachi Projectors. I was responsible for £3.7 million target per quarter - £14.8m per annum – Circa 10% Market share. I consistently outperformed the marketplace by over achieving a growth target for the last nine months of service, despite a year on year market decline of 20% (May 2009 was recorded at -40%) This involved securing a market-leading position in the vital education sector and success in a strategic niche product introduction - acquiring a dominant market position in the growing Ultra Short Throw Projection market. I managed an intricate product portfolio & sales into seven diverse UK distributors – representing 100% of the UK Hitachi Digital Media Group B2B business. This involved product sales and installation technical training UK distributors and resellers and the strategic direction with all accounts, working with board of directors and all commercial levels of management Part of the role was solutions and audio visual product consultancy into all tiers of supply chain including an array of added-value education resellers who formulate all sales. I led the Hitachi projection higher education strategy, working with complex AV integration control & network systems to individual end user specification. I also worked with senior and directorial non-technical parties at end user level to aid their understanding and perceived benefit of Hitachi products and manufacturer partnership for long term solutions.

I was responsible for growth of Hitachi Projector sales via channel partner development and securing competitive terms with the vendor. Technical product training, product demonstrations with end users and channel partners in order to generate pipeline played a prominent part in my role . This in turn increased sales and market share securing more favorable terms for Maverick to position themselves as Hitachi’s primary distributor. Ultimately my success in this role enabled my natural progression from Hitachi Funded Head at Maverick to a position working directly for Hitachi Europe.
