I joined News International to work on the Classified Recruitment team. I was
part of a very successful team working within a very tough market. My role
was to maintain and more importantly develop current accounts as well as
generating new revenue streams by cold calling relevant clients and agencies.
After enjoying success on the Recruitment team I moved to the Lifestyle team
working on various verticals including Finance, Mobile Communications and
Business to Business. My team contributed to the majority of revenue being
booked by the whole department on a weekly basis.
I was promoted to a senior sales role due to my performance at account
management level. In turn, I regularly attend meetings with key agencies and
clients and am used to presenting in a professional and confident manner.
