Oversee financial processes and system integrations across the business. Must gain an in-depth understanding of current processes as well as the related system integrations in order to understand how system and database changes. Define business and system requirements for new and/or enhanced technology implementation. Participate in business unit application development projects to ensure accurate invoicing and efficient invoice delivery to customers. Participate in business transformation projects to ensure that all billing requirements are met. Participate with Billing Operations teams to support the continuous improvement and ongoing operations of the billing system. Make strategic decisions in collaboration with the business units relating to invoice content, rendering and delivery. Manage vendor relationships as required. Manage solutions to meet both business unit and customer invoicing requirements. Coordinate with internal resources for the flawless execution of enhancements and projects. Leverage relationships resulting from partnering with business units to assist in the implementation of defined billing system enhancements Lead the development of solutions to complex billing problems and work with the Systems Analyst to integrate these solutions with the existing system. Lead the planning and implementing long-term strategic initiatives to ensure integration of current and future technologies.
