1. Collaborate with Fundamental Science Department faculties to align with curriculum/syllabus needs; participate in lab layout, functional zoning, and equipment configuration planning. 2. Conduct market research on lab instruments, equipment and consumables; provide technical analysis, selection recommendations, and assist in procurement. 3. Oversee lab construction (utilities, networking, safety infrastructure) to ensure compliance with safety standards. 4. Manage acceptance, installation, debugging and calibration of new equipment; establish equipment inventory files. 5. Handle lab scheduling, reservations and usage records; maintain a clean and organized lab environment. 6. Perform regular maintenance, inspection and troubleshooting of lab equipment; manage consumables inventory and replenishment. 7. Develop/enforce safety protocols, conduct safety training and drills, and manage hazardous materials to ensure zero accidents. 8. Assist faculties in preparing lab materials (instruments, consumables, demonstration apparatus) for sessions. 9. Co-teach experimental physics courses: lead practical instruction and provide timely technical support for students’equipment issues. 10. Provide embedded instruction on lab techniques and instrument use for students; assist in guiding students’project / innovation / competition-related lab work.

1. Master's degree or higher in Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related scientific discipline. 2. Practical experience in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering is highly preferred. 3. Prior study experience abroad will be an advantage. 4. Candidates with an interest or background in Artificial Intelligence (AI) are highly desired, particularly those enthusiastic about exploring applications of AI to augment and transform traditional lab work. 5. Strong understanding of the principles and apparatus used in general physics experiments (Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Electromagnetism, Optics, Modern Physics). 6. Strong hands-on ability to independently install, debug, maintain, and repair common physics lab instruments. 7. Prior experience in laboratory setup, management, or as a teaching assistant in a higher education setting is highly desirable. 8. Familiarity with data acquisition/analysis software such as LabVIEW or MATLAB is a plus English is required (B2 or above); German is desirable.
