Develop, implement, and optimize extrusion processes for tire manufacturing, focusing on improving efficiency, quality, and consistency Analyze and troubleshoot existing extrusion processes to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality control, and production, to introduce new materials and compounds into the extrusion process Specify and select extrusion equipment and tooling, ensuring compatibility with production requirements and product specifications Work with equipment vendors to design and implement custom extrusion solutions Oversee the installation, commissioning, and validation of new extrusion equipment Monitor and control the quality of extruded components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company specifications Develop and implement process control plans, including SPC (Statistical Process Control) and other quality assurance techniques Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for extrusion-related defects Collect and analyze process data to identify trends, optimize parameters, and improve overall process performance Prepare detailed reports on process performance, improvement initiatives, and project progress for management review Utilize data-driven decision-making to drive continuous process improvements Train production staff and junior engineers on extrusion processes, equipment operation, and safety protocols Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for extrusion processes Ensure all extrusion processes comply with OSHA and other relevant safety regulations Participate in safety audits and implement necessary changes to maintain a safe working environment

Academic Degree in engineering or in a field related to the position 10+ years of experience in PCR Development Strong knowledge of rubber extrusion processes, equipment and tooling Proficient in using CAD software for tooling design Experience with SPC, FMEA and other quality management tools Familiar with industry standards and regulations related to tire manufacturing Fluent in English (written and spoken) Open-minded, team player, strong communication skills
