We are seeking an ambitious, growth-minded individual to build and lead a subsidiary company of an established global player within the Digital Health space. The General Manager will lead and manage all aspects of operations in China to ensure the successful execution of the company strategic and commercial plan. In partnership with the CEO co-founder, you will shape the company’s direction, set-up the operations and help build and oversee all business units to drive sustained growth and success within the region. This includes identifying critical business and compliance requirements and leveraging innovation opportunities in line with market trends to facilitate the delivery of outstanding product and service offerings. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with the leadership team to develop and execute the company business strategy, objectives and key results - Accountable for regional financial performance against budget and financial targets supported by a strong understanding of the business's balance sheet - Set-up robust systems and operations to scale at speed - Provide local input and expertise to inform the go-to-market strategy across marketing, product and sales - Explore growth channels and partnerships to build brand awareness and presence within the China market - Ensure regulatory and compliance obligations are consistently met - Lead a diverse and inclusive team to promote a culture of excellence and high-performance - Act as a brand ambassador and representative to develop key internal and external stakeholder relationships - Facilitate and nurture a culture of innovation and continuous improvement to drive business growth and sales revenue The ideal candidate has a keen commercial understanding and a demonstrated ability to run and grow businesses within a start-up environment. You are a charismatic, hands-on leader with experience managing cross functional teams and individuals at all levels.
